First rain of the season expected
Today Lady Soul returned from Nisyros as the forecast predicts some rain and southerly winds for the next days.
We really are looking forward to some rain as it will be the first since spring time.

Kalimera from Symi
For our end of the season sail this year we choose Symi.
Instead of mooring at the busy main harbour we are docked at the new Pedi Marina.
The beautiful bay and the tranquility here are perfect.
Today we had a magnificent lunch at Agia Marina just outside the bay, which I must highly recommend.

Impressions from Arki
After a beautiful downwind sail from Marathokampos on Samos we arrived at Porto Streto at the little island of Arki.
This time we decided to go on one of Isidoros mooring buoys in front of his Taverna Apolafsi to enjoy the clear water.
By mistake I did not see the second buoy which ended up on one of my props. Nikolas from the taverna in Porto Augusto came over and brought another Nicolas, a magnificent french diver & boat builder, who fixed the problem immediately. Many thanks to everyone involved.
Now we enjoy the great food cooked by Isidoros mother Angeliki with a beautiful view to the bay

Beautiful Sailing Day
Today the forecast was for no wind at all. So I was already surprised when leaving the harbour of Pythagorion on Samos as there was a nice breeze for sailing.
In the approach of the small island of Arki Lady Soul was sailing with around 7 knots.
A perfect single handed sailing day.
Now I will enjoy the tranquility of Arki after 2 noisy nights in Samos before returning to my favorite swimming bay in Palionissos.

Covid-19 free Lipsi
Today on our way from Palionissos to Lipsi the Hellenic Coast Guard redirected us to stay at least 2.5 nm off the small island of Strongily, because the Greek Air Forces were holding some shooting exercises.
Now we are enjoying the Covid free island of Lipsi before heading to Arki tomorrow.
